A little New Year's Gift for my friends....One of my wonderful nieces posted a video of Prince's 1987 guitar version of Auld Lang Syne. It was amazing! Now, for a change of pace, how about hearing it the way the song was originally written, with words added later by the incomparable Robbie Burns, the Scottish Poet of years gone by? Here it is being sung by the Barra McNeils of Scotland. You can either watch the slide show, with the translation of the words written under the photos, or just close your eyes and enjoy. I love this version...
