I wore my robe when I went to open the coop. It’s a chilly 52 degrees

We are a perfect 66° this morning. The hens will not be panting today but I'm sure they will find something to squabble about. They always do.

We're at 47* right now, but it's supposed to get to 62*. The long range forecast calls for possible snow around Thanksgiving.

I will be once the day is over. There is a Veterans program we are going to at another school with the kids. They will not appreciate it and it will disrupt the whole day. Hopefully we will get breaks today so we can reset.

Seems silly to take children that young. I'm sure you are right; they will not appreciate the event. I hope they will behave and not cause the teachers or other participants too much stress.

But it doesn’t smell like a book, doesn’t have the same feel. Especially when you fall asleep with it and roll over on it in the night

Or drop it on your face (guilty.) but I love the perks of having an instant library at my fingertips, day or night.
