What kind of squash are you growing?

Just realized the wedding must be coming right up...hope it's not going to be outside with the weather you all have been getting!
Buttercup. I’ve always grown butternut, as it’s so meaty. The buttercup is so much sweeter.
I was just looking at the 2 week forecast on the weather channel. It is showing 82* and 5-10 mph wind with no rain but it will be humid. A lot can change in 13 days though.
Craig’s cousin went to a wedding yesterday that was in a shed with no air condition…close to 300 people in there. She said it was awful. They ate their food in the car and went home.

We used to grow buttercup in our FL garden, it's delicious.

That wedding in a shed sounds horrible. Hope you guys will have pretty weather for your son's wedding.
 
This is the building they are having it in. There is air conditioning thank goodness. That basketball hoop will be coming down. It’s the city hall and it’s used for bingo, basketball, and other stuff.

Thanks Debby! I hope it doesn’t rain and the humidity is not horrible. Those tux’s will be hot. It’s July…anything can happen.
My sister is taking the wedding pictures. I hope my son cooperates. He does not enjoy getting his picture taken. :th

That looks like a great spot to have it. A/C in July is mandatory!
