The guy we need to talk to has a way of always being out when we try. I really don't want to get some without the ok then have to give them up.
 
You guys always make me laugh!

I'm happy - daylight savings has ended. I never adjust so I'm always pleased to get my hour back. I'm an early bird so I get up early to get stuff done! I don't need 'extra' light at night.

Probably the most embarrassing thing I have done is come off my pushbike [my fault] in front of a bus packed with tourists. The bus stopped, they all piled out to see if I was OK and I was like “yeah, yeah I am fine” [but super embarrassed, go away! Lol] .. picked up my bike and attempted not to limp as I headed around the corner to a secluded spot where I could survey the damage in private

Plans for today .. housework, grocery shopping and if I get those done ASAP, some down time in the garden with the gals

We are now on daylight savings time...I also like daylight in the morning. Geez wish those in power would just leave the time alone, like it used to be when I was young..

BTW , DH said that toilet flushes rotate in the opposite direction here vs your area. Is that true

I am refusing to accept day light savings. If I do than I sleep too late each morning, and no one wants to be accused of that.

I dispise daylight savings time...i do better with the spring then in the fall. Our's went ahead 3 weeks ago.

Apparently the whole 'water going down the drain' and 'toilet flushing' in the opposite direction depending on your hemisphere is a bit of a myth - I looked it up, never having taken much notice of which way the water goes myself. But apparently cyclones rotate counter clockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere as they cover a greater distance (as compared to a toilet bowl or bathtub/sink) so the moving air masses that create them are affected by the earth's rotation (or something like that). It's called the Coriolis effect but gravity trumps it in most instances.

There was apparently some survey done in New Zealand about whether people were happy with daylight savings. The results appear to be that most people like it. It did make me wonder who on earth they asked!!!
