The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Morning all!

The Case of the Missing Cart has been solved. Our bartender got a tip, she passed it on to me, we called the deputy and TWO of our carts have been found. The one we weren't aware of was part of the scrap, older carts that no one uses. The person that took them had them in his yard (!). And the guilty party is...the mechanic that was taken off to jail Friday for the outstanding warrant in Casper. Now he's really in trouble, the estimated value of the stolen stuff is around $8,000-$10,000.

Gotta go to work, stuff needs to be made, meat needs to be smoked, dishes need to be washed, etc. Hope you all have a great day and I'll try to check in later!

J, if I ever decide to get into the quail game, you're my first point of contact! Loved all the info you shared (and can't get enough of the pictures). You're awesome!

OHLD, are you back up to snuff and up to tricks now? Hope so.

Glad your carts have been found, maybe just the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what else he may have "appropriated," from the course and/or you.

Good thought! Didn't some of DH's tools come up missing awhile back? If I am remembering right.
It's to bad your so far away, I can/have worked on Golf Carts, compared to Aircraft they are easy.

Glad you found your stuff. You work too much, I'm exhausted listening to it. Can't wait for your winter break.

I'm getting there, but I will continue to take it easy for quite a few months which means my poor husband gets to cut down the gardens this fall again. I can at least take care of the stuff in my wonderful raised boxes which have been a joy to garden in. No bending required.

You're right Scott, about DH's tools missing a while back. When we checked the pawn shop in town, the owner told us he was aware of the mechanic's reputation (not good) but we couldn't find out for sure he was responsible so let it go.

I wish you were closer Scott, you'd be hired in a minute!

You just keep on taking it easy miss. Your DH will be fine and in the meantime, you can make plans for more raised boxes! I used to love the raised beds at my FL house, that bending can get exhausting.

While we're waiting for a Pickle pic, a couple more cat photos my son took while visiting...

I took a picture of our dead tree...Spuds will miss it when it comes down, that's his favorite spot to bird stalk. It is huge and right next to the house. I hope it misses the house and the tree behind it as thats my favorite tree. Have a good day all!

Wow I love all these cats
