Small hands, and a forgiving heart was a requirement for my wife search.

But, all of my past mistakes, and they were numerous, Have melded together to make what I am now.

Just like a person doesn't forget how they got a scar, I can't forget my past mistakes.

My mistakes make me the goof I am now I guess. They also show me the person I want to be, and the dad I strive to be.
