The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Sadly for the little Peach Face, he was not the one that the gentleman had lost so he is still with the carer.

She is going to buy him an appropriate cage today so if the owner is found, she is going to keep the cage because she needed one anyway.

However, if the owner is not found, she is going to teach me how to care for him and we can reimburse her for the cage.

I find myself already making plans as to where he can spend his day in the garden and a safe spot for him at night ;)
They like to have a buddy. I lost a parrotlet to the outdoors, but was able to talk him down out of the tree! Yay!
 
Any one else cleaning up your property? We have endless wood to burn, no pine in our wood stove. Lit another fire today. I want to rake up some dried leaves for the chickens for later, but they need to dry up again first.

Sorry it wasn't his, it is sad to lose a pet and now the fellow is still gonna have to keep looking :( If no one has yet claimed "Peachy" she likely will be yours.
