The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Doing well... Going to keep it simple this year, so not a lot going on. This evening I'll season and put the garlic herb rub on the NY Strip and put it back in the fridge. Probably going to do some green beans, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy to go with the roast. I'll also be making a butternut squash soup.

ETA: If it get's warm enough today, I'll probably make a loaf of bread as well.

It it is too cold for bread baking, use a heat pad on low. Set the bread on it. Make sure it does not get too hot though. The top of a water heater is also a good place to raise bread

My brother is into that sort of cooking and he might like to check it out.

I might need another cup of coffee...I could have sworn you wrote you had to make a plunking roll. I was going to ask for clarification but apparently my eyes opened enough to see you were talking about a pumpkin roll
