What was missing? If not the battery or the card, he can still use the camera, right? Unless it was the camera that was missing ;)

We got a large covered cat box from Petco a couple of months ago. Well, we got the TOP but not the bottom. They do not sell the parts separately so HOW can we get only half of the set??? That one came UPS, they sent a new one (got both halves that time) USPS :he I went to the PO to pick it up, couldn't see the poor rural carrier taking up half his car with a single box.

DW and DD1 are going to Montreal to see Cirque du Soleil - CRYSTAL. Regular Cirque stuff plus ice skating.

If I didn't know better, I would think you might have a liking for ice cream. ;)

Oh no, sorry for the confusion. We didn't end up going to VT. Everyone kept changing their minds about whether or not they wanted to go and my brother had to work Friday so wouldn't be able to come up until the night then wanted to go home for Christmas Eve so we would be there like a day so then we just cancelled. It's a long way for one day with everyone

So instead, we had my brothers and their girlfriends over for Christmas Eve for the afternoon for the football game (and that's the day I made the mac and cheese) then they both left to go to family parties. Then the next day they had Christmas at their house (1 or 2 miles away) and her parents and her brother were there. This is my older brother. They are living in my grandma's old house. We did presents kind of mid morning then went over there at around 1. We were supposed to be there at 12 or 12:30 but were late ha they originally wanted us there at 11 but I think they did presents with her family.

Anyway, we stayed till probably 4 or 5 because they wanted to go skiing.

So very long story short, no, we did not end up going to Vermont but my older brother and his girlfriend went to New Hampshire instead. They left right after the party on Christmas.

So yeah.

Sorry for the long, slightly complicated saga.
 
It'll be sleep for me too on New Years Eve - I hate staying up late. Early to bed, early to rise is me.

The weather is supposed to pack up here for New Years. The current 10 day prediction is rain from January 1st onwards. We desperately need rain to fill up our tanks so a week of rain would be a dream come true!
