The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I guess so, old age?? Maybe you need to point me back to those pictures to jog my memory.

Anyone who likes coffee and sweet stuff is more than likely going to love Tiramisu.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of them @KDOGG331. We have a plastic set, it measures fine but the numbers wear off. Should we decide to get any more, I'm going with the stainless ones that have the numbers "etched" into the spoons.
I have 2 sets, love them.
Oh boy...

I ordered a nice digital Nikon camera for DH's big Christmas present through Amazon. I picked up his package from the Post Office today and some of the parts that were supposed to be included are not in the packaging.

I hate dealing with stuff like this because it's not just a matter of taking something back to the store...gotta go through Amazon and they contact the distributor then get back to me. Just complicates stuff. :rant

Poor DH, he is not a happy camper.
Good luck!

Morning all :frow

Anyone have plans for New Year's Eve? It's been years since we did anything (and that's a-ok fine) but looks like we're going to try to get to Cheyenne to spend it at my brother's house this year. Let's see if we have better luck this try :D

Yesterday was in the 20's and the sun was shining, almost seemed spring-like!

Hi Debby. No plans, but maybe out for supper. I hope you make it to your brothers. We had a high of 0*

Keep warm DMC, that's cold enough to keep you inside and out of trouble.

Actually, I like staying home for NYE, but since we didn't make it to his house for Christmas we need to go if weather allows. He loves a house-full (which seems strange to me, lol).

IF people would all just do their particuliar job right packages wouldn't be missing parts, etc. I always hated buying stuff with assembly needed - parts missing, holes drilled in wrong areas. The worst are the ones that say "No tools necessary." You open the box and it says you need a certain screw driver and I just :rant

For every one of those packages with missing parts there is a Chinese worker laughing in anticipation for the time when it is discovered that the package is incomplete.

We have never been big on parties. Probably because i hate cleaning. And now we know so few people here, so it will likely be stay at home for us. We went to one NYE party since we met in 1974. And both people that hosted it are dead now. I do need to either go to the library to return books or call and renew. Hope they will renew them.
