Yesterday DH and I got what we needed to string up supporting ropes and actually had a lovely day around 50 with essentially no wind to get those up. I have a post topper ordered, should come to day IF the mail runs......BECAUSE.....

It snowed

Yes we got close to 2 inches early am.

Good Morning Friends

I am loving these cooler temps and rain! A much nicer 84F predicted for today with an 80% chance of more rain and/or a tropical storm.

Tee hee Blooie! Oh, and speaking of ‘Super Woman’!

I know you are all not loving the snow much at the moment, but the pictures sure are beautiful! So much prettier than lots of ‘dead and drooping’ from the heat

Love the polymer clay pieces sunflour and the sign Cap

Just waved FIL good bye as he is heading off to the city for the day; there is a new Anime movie he wants to see. Probably going to be gone all day .. party time! LOL I get to have what I want for lunch Also, because he will be back late, I volunteered to take his cooking night .. chicken parmigiana, chips and salad on the menu and not a cardboard box in sight!!

So adorable (probably wouldn't say that about the zombie finger/eyeball)! What do you paint it with for the lovely, blended colours? And seal it with? We've just used the coloured polymer clay before and it's tricky when you want a few different colours, or to do anything too detailed.

My little quail baby that needed help is a little cinnamon. Not sure I'll get many good photos today. Apart from the fact little Spicey is being a very good mother and keeping them toasty, it's really dark inside today. The rain has finally arrived and it's getting heavy now. It's going to be cooler today which should be nice, but that won't last!

I used shavings off of chalk pastels and acrylic paints. Sealer is one made for polymer clay. I've read that the chalk will fade but it looks more realistic for the donuts/cheese and of course the zombie finger .

The snow is very pretty! I am happy to see it and not be in it though....

They closed the office so I got a day to just watch and enjoy it

The young gals in my flock were amazed by it and sat on a roost in the covered run watching it fall and at other times tasted it The 2 elders were unimpressed.

Love the big Krispy Kremes. Princess is going to the casino tomorrow. That means a dozen will be coming home with her.

I rarely get real Krispy Kremes, but they are my favorite.....especially if one catches them when the HOT sign is on.

We rarely get snow down here, so am still fascinated by it. This was especially unique - just fluffy snow. We usually have sleet or sleet-snow mixed

I haven't cooked it yet, it is only 08:40AM but yeah, if it turns out OK, I might just take a pic so I can drool over it when having to eat nuked stuff again

The silly thing is, while I have the house to myself [still working though] I am now worried about him driving in this weather, at his age, [4 hour round trip]

Just because I vent does not mean I do not care
