The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I could maybe go for some beagle in there with the longer body, shorter legs. Don't see boxer or GP.

Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder if she even has any Pyrenees because she's just kinda dainty and like her bone structure in her legs and head isn't huge and bulky or thick legs etc. Like Gator. But then again Gator is a male. And yeah, probably not boxy/blocky enough for a Boxer either.

I do wonder if she's got some sort of hound the way she finds scents and goes running across the yard. But then she also gets distracted and runs back or elsewhere. Maybe that's just cause she's still new and there's lots of new and interesting scents out there? They are on a river and marsh so lots of interesting scents in the yard I'm sure. But still. And she is so smart.

Never been to one, there aren't any in Vermont I don't think.

Carefully take it off the tree without touching the underside and YOU can make an amazing piece of art drawing on it.

My PCs were definitely broody. Good birds otherwise though. One dropped from "I don't know what", fine at 8:30 AM, dead at 11 AM, 3 months shy of her 2nd "hatch day", the other was taken by a fox the next spring. I've not gotten more BECAUSE of the broody tendency.
What happens if you touch the bottom?

I have a Castor update from my sister’s FB page and it is good news! :clap

This time last week, we did not think we would ever be able to take a photo like this of Castor again. My boy has been very sick, so sick he could not stand up. Thanks to the wonderful staff at xxxxx xxxxx veterinary hospital, he is slowly getting better. We were so very scared we were going to lose our very precious boy. Not totally out of the woods yet, but looking very hopeful.

It is awesome that he is up and about and outside. He looks happy too!

Awesome news!

We went for a nice walk by the river today. Very pretty day. Wish i were feeling better. Not really sick, just tired feeling. Any way, i cut 4 legs for the quail cage today and painted them. Hope to have enough energy to put it together tonight.

We saw this amazing shelf fungus today on our walk. Almost looks like a giant clam!

That is cool! We used to see some wild fungus on our FL place. Won't find any around here, it's just too dry.
