Is that just before opening up the restaurant?

Pretty close. I'll start cleaning everything up around the end of March/first part of April. Unless something unforeseen happens, the restaurant should be open for business April 17th. Lots to do first...cleaning, ordering stuff, making stuff, etc.

It is good to get the vacation in before that for sure!

Have a great time

And of course it is SO easy to get on the internet to visit their website for help if your access is via satellite.

ETA: but I drove a bus to the meeting (aka two seat F-16)
Ah, the FAST bus!

It has not been a great wet season to date; wet seasons in the past have delivered 19 days of rain in a row.

However, it may just also be a late start to the season with the following now predicted:

Today, changed from 80% to 90% chance of up to 40mm [1.5 inches]

Friday, 70% chance of up to 20mm [0.7 inches]

Saturday, 80% chance of up to 40mm [1.5 inches]

Sunday 80% chance of up to 20mm [0.7 inches]

Monday 70% chance of up to 20mm [0.7 inches]

Tuesday 90% chance of up to 40mm [1.5 inches]

Wednesday 90% chance of up to 20mm [0.7 inches]

Looks like the ‘wet season’ might finally be here! It is sunny at the moment and I have the washing out. As is typical of tropical weather, not likely to start looking like rain or storms until later in the day which gives things chance to dry out before the next deluge.

I wish we had that here instead of being cloudy and rainy all day

And wow that's a lot of rain

Good Morning....it's difficult to catch up here for sure.

An example of how our pets train us, when we think we are training them ;)

Love those tiny eggs, the make great ornaments :) Who laid it??

So sorry, one would think they would keep parts with them and think ahead :barnie

Me neither, glad we got an explanation later in the discussion.

We get those also when they migrate north and south. Great video - how do you like Vimeo, I've never checked out posting any video anywhere.

Interesting, we had a tv since early 50's. And I think I saw the landing on a tv at school. I would have thought by 1969 everyone would have had a tv :old.

First read, though you said "health kit" :)

BTW I work with a relative of the fellow who made the Altair computer. He was brilliant.

Great job, you are so good at designs and building.

Me too, the part about projects or crafts, but most these days keep me on the bum :gig

That fungus is grotesque :sick...but interesting. The only Botany class I ever took was the study of mold and fungi - ruined my favorite shoes collecting mushrooms in a field of cow patties  wish I had studied veggies/shrubs/flowers.

:thumbsup Thanks for the tip - guess I should watch the thread, but alas not enough time.

Good point :lau

Yes i am glad it got explained

Morning all!
Whew, finally caught up, again.
Great pics, fantastic tips about routers, good luck with the hatches, sorry about the PawPaw loss (I love PawPaw fruit. I miss it, won't grow here, too cold), great interview Bob (I will never be asked, my life is just too boring) Oh, and you guys had no idea what a Heath Kit was? Thanks, now I realize just how old I really am! :old (Suppose you guys have no clue how to program a Commadore 64 with a cassette player either, do ya'?)

What is a commadore 64?

Ok, just had to share this with the kitty folks on here, my shelter kitty Sammy FINALLY realized he can leave a little food in his bowl for later and nobody is going to steal it! Ok, I know some of you won't get it, but anyone who has ever rescued an animal will understand what a big "breakthu" this is. (insert happy dance)

Awwww awesome

Not much going on this weekend. But one week from this coming weekend, we'll be going on vacation View attachment 1272544

sounds fun!

I use Vimeo to host video sermons for my church. They do not have storage on the church website...too cheap to pay for it...so I pay for a level of storage on Vimeo to host them.

I like it because it automatically compressed the files and then streams them. It is very easy to add videos to BYC too.
I need a lesson on how to use vimeo to post a video on here. I tried this morning:th:bow:D

Have you guys seen this YouTube video? I was skeptical at first, but watching it all the way through...now I'm not sure what to think. Seems real (and pretty amazing)!

So cool! Our neighbor found a stray kitten, about mid size and it started sucking on the dogs nipples...messed with my head a bit. I totally believe it's for real.
