I need a lesson on how to use vimeo to post a video on here. I tried this morning

Setup a free account with vimeo. You then upload the video to them and then it converts. After the video converts, you go to your videos, find the one you want to post here and then click on sharing. Copy the link and then reply or start a new message here. From the tool bar, click the insert media tool. Paste in the copied link and post the reply!
Done!

Totally wish it was that easy for me. I have a vimeo account and can load videos on their site but from there I get lost. I will try and figure it out with your instructions, thank you!!

Good Morning Friends

Great news about Sammy chickisoup

You are allowed to be excited N F C, you deserve a vacation!

I am a little excited myself. Not only is today Friday, I only have to work Monday and Tuesday next week and then I have 5 days [including the weekend] off work.

On Wednesday I plan to go shopping in town for some clothes which will make a change from ordering on line. As you know, I go in to town on the weekend for groceries but no time for mooching in the shops which is what I intend to do on Wednesday. I do not usually like shopping, but I am looking forward to an ‘all about me’ day. Going to start it off with a Cappuccino and I am having something ‘naughty’ for lunch, probably KFC! I am excited about that! Do not laugh, but you guys n’ gals know what I have to eat on occasion; last night being a great example, cold fish and chips With the preparation of the fish being, defrost fillet, put fillet on baking tray, put baking tray in oven. Following multiple distractions, serve baked, unseasoned fish with chips, cold. I managed to get some of it in to me but definitely not all of it; generous dollops of Tartar Sauce helped a little.

Thursday is Hubby’s birthday and he has the day off work also; I have the Angel Food Cake challenge on that day.

Friday will be spent in the garden, weather permitting. If weather does not permit I am not sure what I am going to do but it will most likely involve getting out of and away from the house.

Predicted maximum today is only 84F Currently very dark outside, raining and thunder.

After you log into vimeo, look for the upload button at the top right:

Click it and you get:

Click choose file and then browse for the video you want to upload. Watch size limits

This is the upload screen. You can change names and etc. from here

After it is uploaded click on go to video. It might still be converting. When the conversion is finished, you will see the video and in the top right you will see a paper air plane icon. That is the sharing tool

Copy the link and then add it to a post here using the insert media tool

You get:

I pasted the link to vimeo and clicked on embed.

The video is uploaded!

program a Commadore

We had one, it took pages and pages of typing to see a red ball bounce across the screen...I found it quite boring, but DH loved it. It was still in my attic until about 5 years ago when a friend's IT son wanted it, gave it to him and shockingly it still worked.

I use Vimeo to host video sermons for my church. They do not have storage on the church website...too cheap to pay for it...so I pay for a level of storage on Vimeo to host them.

I like it because it automatically compressed the files and then streams them. It is very easy to add videos to BYC too.

Whew, finally caught up, again.
Great pics, fantastic tips about routers, good luck with the hatches, sorry about the PawPaw loss (I love PawPaw fruit. I miss it, won't grow here, too cold), great interview Bob (I will never be asked, my life is just too boring) Oh, and you guys had no idea what a Heath Kit was? Thanks, now I realize just how old I really am! (Suppose you guys have no clue how to program a Commadore 64 with a cassette player either, do ya'?)
