I'm wondering the same thing. Looks like he got smashed with a driver.

We better make sure Ken has some Masonic activity down that way so @Blooie can make it!
Just one last snakey post (don't want to scare anyone)...
This butte that runs along part of the golf course is named "Rattlesnake Butte". Hmm, wonder how they came up with that name?

Um, does the course have insurance for when they are sued by a golfer that got snake bit? Or is there a waiver they have to sign that says "I will not sue the course if a rattler drops out of a tree and kills me with it's pointy teeth"?That's a big 'un! Thank goodness for George!
Last year, twice, rattlesnakes feel out of a tree on the 6th hole on the golf course! Weird, they each fell out on a Friday, one week apart. That'll speed up play for sure!
It was beautiful outside today, Teila! But not only was I dressed improperly for a bear encounter, I didn’t even take my camera and lenses! I mean, who takes a camera to Walmart just in case? I will from now on, though!
You were looking for a little inspiration? How about what I have on my fridge - “If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough”.
And think about the turtles- they don’t get anywhere unless they stick their necks out!
Geez @Blooie, must take forever to get places when you have to stop for all the wildlife on the road!

We’ll be halfway there this weekend - gotta go to Riverton. I think Deb should meet us there and bring samples so I can do a little “quality control” before our big gat together at the course, whaddya think?
Snakes and spiders and wasps....<shudder>. I think every county in Wyoming has a Rattlesnake Butte in it somewhere. Pesky things!
Speaking of wildlife...we were, weren’t we?.....Ken and I had to go to Walmart today. I know, poor us. Not much to see though. Just several huge herds of elk, deer, Big Horn sheep, bison.....oh, and a very healthy looking grizzly bear.

At least on a golf course you already have a weapon capable of doing serious damage in hand![]()
