The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

From what I understand, they can to vision correction--one eye for close and one eye for distance but you have to pay extra for it. That is under medicare.

Since I live in California I assume I will need cataract surgery one day and have this in mind for that.

How does this work if a person has vertigo? i know at one time I had contacts like that but had to quit wearing them because I'd get dizzy. I guess my brain can't multi-task.

@sharron Hope he heals up quickly.

It works the same as lasics

Vertigo is usually an inner thing where balance is centered. There are other cause of course.

It is called binocular vision. Most can handle it fine but the contacts are a good way to see if you can do this! You cannot so do not get correction with cataract surgery for sure

Yes! We have a very high number of days with sun (about 265). I am working one wearing sun glasses when I go out but suspect the damage has already been done!

i was born and raised in florida, tried to wear sunglasses but being a kid, sunglasses weren't something i thought about, didn't start wearing them until about 16 or 17 but now even on cloudy days my head starts to hurt without them, have very very sensitive eyes, eye doctor says i have the most sensitive eyes hes ever seen, i ask him if its because of being a floridian and he said he didn't think so, so who knows, damage done?

pouring rain right now, flash flood warnings out hoping our son makes it home ok, he took his motorcycle to work this morning and he just got off work gonna start watching for him (he lives next door)
I hope it is not like this!
