Good morning Sean & all :frow

Good one, morning Debby! :frow

Sean, with your building skills and pheasant/quail knowledge, you should consider doing some articles for the Learning Center and/or the Coops section. I've been working on reviewing articles for both sections and there isn't a lot I've come across that covers things about the birds you raise. Think about it, articles like that would be a great addition!

Yeah, I thought about it but I'm not good with the written word! :lau plus don't really take enough pics while Im building. I do draw up plans before starting, they also change as I progress along during the build.
Another thing is, I'm building for South Texas weather, so my pens probably wouldn't work for peeps up North. :gig
We'll see, thanks for poke in the ribs! Might get me motivated!

Trying to catch up, not going to make it right now, have to leave for a family gathering soon. Old iMac power cord from the "brick" to the iMac finally failed, on Wednesday while we were in New Brunswick so no updates or reading! Definitely a weak point and poor design. Very thin "cable" HARDWIRED into the brick so if it breaks you have to buy the whole thing for $$. Maybe they planned it that way to make more money. Now using the cable that came with the new machine a few months ago. Given the fragility, I figured I better save the new one until I needed it.

DH & I are going to try to get up to Yellowstone sometime (if the roads are open). He's never been and I haven't seen it in several years.
Better hurry, IIRC Blooie said they already had snow in the passes to Yellowstone this year.

Was that the 1st time you've been to the Falls Bruce? I've been a couple times and was totally impressed. As I recall, the U.S. side was more park-like and scenic but the Canadian side had more "entertainment" type things. Is it still that way or has the U.S. side commercialized too?
First and only but yes it is as you described. It is a park on the US side and you can see tons of hotels and casinos and such on the Canadian side. Presumably the falls are more spectacular when viewed from "their" side though. Still pretty spectacular from "our" side though.

Bruce no apologies needed re: Chicago comments. We moved out nearly 50 years ago(wasn't quite so bad then - just our neighborhood) and NEVER looked back. I have no fond memories of living there .
My grandfather was born in the mid 1890's. Family moved to L.A. when he was a teen. I recall him saying "Chicago is a good place to be FROM". Guess he didn't miss it either and there are a bazillion more people there now than there were 110 years ago.
