We used to get a lot of hummers at our north FL house. Those little things were mean to each other

For being a big cat he is quick! I got it out of his mouth 3 times...third time he wasn’t flying very well so I doubt it. This one he caught a month ago. It survived. He was waiting to be let in so he could finish him off.

It survived though...when I took that picture I didn’t know it was a hummer until I got it out of his mouth.

We have a pair of wild ducks visiting us a couple of times a day to demand food. It must be the same pair that usually visit us at this time of year as the female will eat out of my hand, no hesitation.

We watched a documentary series recently about animal flight and the humming birds are just amazing little things.

Haven't fed the hummers yet but keep meaning to. We see them occasionally. I hear they are mean to each other over the feeders though. Can be vicious lol
