Hi deb glad to see you....

Opie caught a hummer on the deck the other day. That was quite something to get it out of his mouth!

Had one tried to perch on my shoulder yesterday.. Kind of freaked me out a bit..

I love ducks

Haven't fed the hummers yet but keep meaning to. We see them occasionally. I hear they are mean to each other over the feeders though. Can be vicious lol

I've got two feeders and one couple have decided the one by the deck door is all theirs... The girl will perch on the bracket I hang it from and run anyone off that comes near the feeder or the flowers by the deck. These are the same two birds that will hover about 5" from my face and chatter at me. Not sure what they're saying but suspect they like the feeder. If it goes empty, they have a totally different tone to their chatter...

Bob, loved the hummer stories! Sounds like you better pay attention to them, they're quite bossy

Normally they approach me from the front, this one came from behind... Hard not to jump when you get that flutter in your ear without expecting it.
