I do try!
Ken arrived safely in Cheyenne (didn’t we just get back from there Saturday?) and only ran into snow from Chugwater down. He said it wasn’t bad at all, though. Tonight he goes to Burns and tomorrow night to Pine Bluffs, (he’s home-porting in Cheyenne) then Casper on Wednesday, home super late Wednesday night. He and his buddy Jim have a Scottish Rite meeting (I think that’s what it’s for) in Washington State, so they leave Thursday and will be home on Sunday, in time for us to head back to Casper for two more days before we go to Boise for 4 days for the Rocky Mountain Conference. Our 26 years in the Navy was good practice for all of this!
Cap, I’m no ordinary dog owner!I gotta do everything the hard way. Score today is Fiona’s coat, 10, Blooie, 0. I gave up. She looks a lot better, but she’s far from done.
You guys in the path of this nasty storm stay safe!

And after. Still got a lot to do, but she looks a lot less shaggy than she did! You can see that I haven’t done her rear quarters, front legs, or her neck yet. Need help holding her for those. On the neck the collar gets in my way and I need that to help hold her. On her rear quarters she keeps sitting down. And when I tried to do her front legs her big head kept getting in my way while she tried to lick my hand.![]()
Wow she looks way better!! Nice job!!
