Just noticed Purina is 50 pounds, Nutrena is 40. Guess will get Purina for now but for future reference am curious how long feed lasts.

Water pumps aren't that expensive. Of course it works only if you are generating enough "free" extra solar/wind power during the day to pump it back up and don't need more at night than the hydro generates.


But Deb, we can't even convert to metric after all these years! When were we supposed to do that, 40 or 50 years ago? I can't imagine what it would cost in actual $$ to convert to all DC appliances, lights, etc.

we are all heading that way.... Led lights are DC.... all you need is to remove that transformer between the AC and the dC. Of course there is more to it than that .... But that Transformer eats alot of power....um er drains off some of what you could save.

I am not talking about wholesale converstion here. i am talking about the people who are intending on living off grid. DC has its problems in that it doesnt transport long distance. I dont know how it is now in Europe but it used to be the ground litterally was the ground to complete circuits.

Found these interesting articles. I just had a bowl of cereal and it did seem to make my sinuses hurt (mucousy and jaw/slight headache) and now I regret it cause I felt fine before it lol it's been doing that lately when I never had an issue with it before

Anyway so then I googled milk sinuses and yeah... I think I am going to try cutting dairy. But I LOVE dairy. Especially cheese on my sandwiches, greek yogurt in smoothies, ice cream, etc.

Yep Kelsey, milk, and other dairy products will cause mucous to form in the sinuses.
It does with me, and ice cream, too! Doesn't cause a headache with me, though.

Birds are all fine. Yeah, I finished hatching back in July. Now, I need to sell 8 Red Golden males, 1pair of Zerafshan pheasants. 1 Lady Amherst Male, 1pair of Melanistic pheasants. The Male Amherst may have already been spoken for....waiting for the buyer to get their addition to their pen built before I let it go...I have peeps all the time saying they are coming to pick up birds and never do.
