The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Try to be careful! Where were your moccasins?
I prefer not to wear any footwear in the house, except maybe socks, that wouldn't have stopped the burn! And right now, it hurts so bad to try and get anything on my feet, not limber enough and when trying to bend over to do that, sends shockwaves of pain through my leg.

@The Farmers' Daughter YAY, so glad to see you back again! Good update on the house, 1 step backwards for 2 steps ahead :p

@JaeG that property sounds great and I love all the plans you have. Still have my fingers crossed for you (you do know that makes it difficult to type, right?). :fl

@007Sean if you're having trouble getting shoes on, I know where you can get a pair of backless waterproof winter boots to slide into :gig

Tara Higgins who jumped ship for Facebook - had a long running and very, very wordy thread called "J'est a Bird in Pair of Dice." can find it via searchbox. She had HAIR SHEEP among dozens of other kinds of sheep, ducks, swans, geese, llama, genuinine Aussie Cattle dogs etc. Also loads of her genetics lessons. Whatever she is discussing, she goes to great lengths in doing so. You may find a lot of info there if you persist.

Also bred Chantecleer chickens with the flat-ist combs - no frost bite. She lives in one of
the severest temps. in Canada. something with an A. Sorry my brain battery wore out.

Thanks Ron - Tara has a wealth of knowledge and experience - especially in housing animals for the horrific weather zone she lives in. She even stated she was able to breed Mareks out of her birds- via survivors and tells how. She also has some fancy pheasants.

Oh dear, sorry. I thought you might have slip ons. I hate that you have to go through all that.
