The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

raining here, not hard but would rather have the rain than the ice and snow they said we might get, the trucks are doing the roads with the gravel and salt mix, the pre-treatment before bad weather . hoping we don't need it
we had to go get my blood work done early this morning, nothing wrong just dr wants to see whats happening due to the diabetes and the roads were fine except for the gravel:lol:
but its getting colder and the rain is starting to freeze on the hand rails and steps and husband still have to go to his dr this morning at 9, if its real bad by then, he'll call and cancel
did i mention that i hate winter:lau
X2. Stay safe!

not sure what the specialist will do, waiting for him to call and make an appointment. i would rather stay here than take a chance of losing him. hes not even to lift anything slightly heavy but stubborn man that he is, he won't let me bring in the wood for the wood stove. he trys to protect me
Sounds like my hubby.

we may not be able to go snowbirding for awhile
not good news for husbands heart, have to go to a specialist, heart beat is really slow:hit(not for leaving but because he could have a heart attack and i could lose him) that scares me to death

:hugs Oh Sharron, I'll be thinking of you both. I'd be lost without my DH too. My DD found a 4 leaf clover (to go with her 5 leaf clover) so that's surely enough good luck to go round. Hopefully you can see the specialist ASAP.

Sounds like my hubby.

And mine.

Jae, so glad to see you! Sorry to hear about your nan (that's your grandmother, right?). Hope she continues to do well. Congrats on a new dove chick, and possibly a 2nd one!

Yes, my grandmother so the kids great grandmother. She's well into her 80s but she's a tough old bird. I was still very nervous though, having lost my grandfather, who I adored, and my great grandmother in the space of 3 weeks when I was only 10 years old. I didn't want to tell the kids their beloved Nannan hadn't made it through the operation. But she's fine (despite the hospital trying to send her home with 2 drains in her neck)!

It's still early here so I haven't checked the doves yet. I ended up putting the egg back under the parent and we'll see what happens.

Continuing to send well wishes to your grandmother Jae! Being a tough old bird is helpful when it comes to recovering from health issues.

Keep us posted on the doves!
