A few of his friends drove down for the break. We caught up with them at Flagler to go fishing.
I am so glad he has such nice friends.
They made me feel so much better. Sending your only child away to a place so different, so far away with no family or support web... it was a bit stressful for me.

One of the girls told me that he is such a nice guy. He was the first person she met up there... he had held the door open for her. (That's my boy!)
One of the other girls has a car and she told me that she will make sure he gets out of the dorm and does other things besides growing pale.

All of them very nice people.

This far north you get some serious breakers off of the coast. Not this time. Not even chop. I had never seen it so calm.
We had a lot of fun and we caught our lost rig, which we lost fist off -and that was pretty wild but other than that we caught nothing.

You could see the BIG fish jumping just past the shelf where the water got deeper. And the spinner sharks were doing their thing, so that was cool.
I always enjoy fishing even if we do not catch anything.

Its wonderful having a son you can be so proud of! Sounds like you passed along some great qualities to that one!

I'm with your there WV, sitting outside with a cold one is what I did for a good while this morning (a cold one being a cold water bottle).

Eggsy, what a nice son you have and I'm glad meeting his friends makes you more comfortable with him being away. When does the semester end?
