Jae I used to fool around with photo shop and could adjust exposure. Like you have them on a white background, so your camera probably underexposed photo. My photo books used to say use neutral gray but, never could find anything that color.

Photo shop and Picassa (free) let me fine tune photos, crop out extraneous matter etc,but, alas only used that for my plant photos. I was always the photo taker, and nobody wanted to take any of me .

No worries here... ALL of the turkey's in the freezer were (at minimum) raised here or even better, hatched here.

i know you raise your own, as alot of us do but some just buy one already frozen and ready to go, i did at thanksgiving

I'm loving these stories too.

Well, we've made the wreaths. They are ridiculously sticky things to make! Melting the marshmallows was crazy - I didn't think they were ever going to be stir-able. I've had to put them on a bed of white chocolate 'snow' because even after setting in the fridge they are still so sticky they would've stuck fast to my platter and we would've been scraping them off! But they look cute and the kids enjoyed decorating.

I had to use the flash as its a dull, dark, rainy (but warm) day here. The photo still looks dark.

I'm going to have to find my raincoat soon and bite the bullet and take the dog out (she does not look enthusiastic - says she'll hold it) and go feed the birds because the rain just isn't letting up. At least the wind hasn't arrived yet. I think this is the remnants of what hit Sydney the other day - a huge hail storm with cricket ball sized hail damaging roofs and cars. We'll just be getting rain and a bit of wind thankfully.

thanks blooie and rj, thats what christmas will always be for us, i still remember that dress like it was yesterday instead of 60 years ago, how about you blooie, you remember your camera don't you?

Oh, with my dying breath I will remember that camera! Not one of my finer moments!

Saaaaay, if one were to write a book, that would be yet ANOTHER good story to put in it!

Oh, you and that book. I should put those stories in a loose leafed binder with paper covers, autograph it and send it to you - except you’ve already read it!

I was doing my normal surfing on YouTube last night. Ran across Conway Twitty's "That's My Job", listening to it, I started the lacmyral glands to gushing. My dad use to tell me that all the time.
My dad was ex Army, and had a full military funeral.

I use GIMP at work and it is very good! It does have a learning curve but not too much of one!
