x2 seems to happen when i'm not here, maybe just as well, wouldn't want to lose my temper

You only would have gotten mad if you raise pure pheasants and have the OP telling you his bird is pure, eventhough, he started the thread by stating it was a mutation., then going on to state he knows genetics and then goes on to demonstrate he knows nothing of genetics either, but insists everyone else is ignorant. Gee, It's giving me a headache again.

i must lead a sheltered life, never saw anything like that down here, or for that matter anywhere but then i don't go out after dark anymore, just like when i was a small kid living with momma and daddy, had to be in the yard at dusk and in the house after dark, funny how things reverse

Funny that the Princess and I were talking about this just today. I frequently left the house early in the morning and never returned until supper time. After supper it was back outside once again. I was never afraid of the dark. I told her that I knew every pond, creek, river, bridge within 10 miles of my home. When I asked if she found that to be weird, she just laughed. It still amazes me how two so different people can get along so well.

sean, even tho i don't raise pheasants of any sort and know nothing about genetics, i do know several people like that, i just agree with the ones i run into at the swaps and say fascinating everytime they say something stupid, then laugh my head off as i walk away husband always says, something to the effect, you know that wasn't nice to make fun of him or her
i try to buy good stock when i buy and keep it pure, i do have one old her thats a cross breed but when she gets broody i always set pures under her and eat her eggs

x2 with the lights, no neighbors either but when i went in, no way was i allowed back out, usually in bed by 7 or 8 too, like you said, full circle now

That's when we lived in town. After moving to our farm, there weren't any street lights nor bad people running around our farm, well, the only bad people was me! on the farm I was like you said, out all night or day, the 'rents didn't worry about me.
