i just agree with the ones i run into at the swaps and say fascinating everytime they say something stupid, then laugh my head off as i walk away husband always says, something to the effect, you know that wasn't nice to make fun of him or her

I saw this post or video or something one time that said they appreciate New Englanders/Northeasters because if you’re stupid, they’ll just flat out tell you you’re an idiot whereas in the south they’ll just say “Well bless your heart”

Can’t remember what it was from or where I heard it but I thought it was funny at the time and so true

In Texas, you either get told your an idiot or you get no response, or at least it was that way back when I was a kid. As I've gotten older and set in my ways, I just tell ya how the cow ate the cabbage.
