i must lead a sheltered life, never saw anything like that down here, or for that matter anywhere but then i don't go out after dark anymore, just like when i was a small kid living with momma and daddy, had to be in the yard at dusk and in the house after dark, funny how things reverse

Funny that the Princess and I were talking about this just today. I frequently left the house early in the morning and never returned until supper time. After supper it was back outside once again. I was never afraid of the dark. I told her that I knew every pond, creek, river, bridge within 10 miles of my home. When I asked if she found that to be weird, she just laughed. It still amazes me how two so different people can get along so well.
That's when we lived in town. After moving to our farm, there weren't any street lights nor bad people running around our farm, well, the only bad people was me!What street lights ?
