Hi Debby and everyone - wonderful power cuts since 6am - gotta love this place sometimes![]()
Allot more even.
Wyoming is really funny. Up here in the Big Horn Basin, we are the "banana belt". We have very mild winters compared to other areas. Cheyenne gets high winds, pretty rough thunderstorms and lots of snow. That line kinda continues north to Casper, across to Riverton, Lander, and the Wind River Mountains. Sheridan and Buffalo on the east side of the Big Horns, and Jackson, Pinedale, Rocks Springs south and west of us get hammered. We just sorta sit here, looking out the window at the mountain ranges on three sides of us. We see the storm clouds come in, hit the mountains, and then watch them follow the mountains around us. We usually handle snow removal here with a broom. Cheyenne folks need slightly heavier equipment! Is where you are going a snow belt.... I know Wyoming is kinda funny..... Even Michigan is strange with the weather. 10 miles south of here barely gets anything all winter
