The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Berts is back, Chris is on 'Gordon's O'clock time, NFC is packing boxes, Blooie is :hugs ,  Phil is on ice, VW/WV may be getting snowed upon, 3GE is classy, DMC is Welcome to the Crew, and anyone I have missed can punish me.  Did that sound all wrong?

It's snowing here in good old NJ.  I've just returned from the Amish market, and my hands hurt.  :old

Nothing wrong with a bit of S n M Sour - better than back wigs possibly? :)

Ooh, I like what Blooie is!!  Not bad for a month off smokes!  Now, 3 weeks ago that would have been a totally different smiley - my brain kept telling me to shut UP, but my mouth kept going.  :duc

Excellent! :thumbsup

I wouldn't like to take a straw pole on how many others I have the same effect on! If I had a brain I'd be dangerous.

With a sigh of relief all round I will bid you all goodnight - hope you all enjoy the rest of your day.

Wyoming is really funny.  Up here in the Big Horn Basin, we are the "banana belt".  We have very mild winters compared to other areas. Cheyenne gets high winds, pretty rough thunderstorms and lots of snow.  That line kinda continues north to Casper, across to Riverton, Lander, and the Wind River Mountains.  Sheridan and Buffalo on the east side of the Big Horns, and Jackson, Pinedale, Rocks Springs south and west of us get hammered.  We just sorta sit here, looking out the window at the mountain ranges on three sides of us.  We see the storm clouds come in, hit the mountains, and then watch them follow the mountains around us.  We usually handle snow removal here with a broom.  Cheyenne folks need slightly heavier equipment!
the U.P. is like that Escanaba to the south on Lake Michigan is the banana belt...... To the north Lake Superior acts like Air Conditioning in the summer and keep it warmer in the winter as it rarely freezes..... But then what I live in the interior we get all that Lake effect snow and it's freaking colder than heck in the winter.
And the contrasts between the two peninsulas is even bigger

The county fair was fun, lots to see, ice cream to eat, miles to walk. I'm tired!
