A few of the older ones are starting to give an indication of what they are. The boys chortle whereas the girls make a more simple chirp. I've caught the biggest/oldest white pied squatting like a hen too!
Can't believe you've had snow already! That's just mean.
Unfortunately we will be waiting another month for our house to be delivered, which I am less than impressed with, so we are going to move the caravan onto our property on Monday as our water tanks are being delivered on Monday. Our big chicken coop is already there, we have 2 lovely wooden sheds, the kids big playhouses and my big aviary will be ready and delivered in just over a week so we'll have everything (except a house)!
Apparently they can live until they are about 30 years old! My grandmother's one, who only eats seed and never comes out of his cage, must be getting close to that. They are adorable and very smart.

I think he is a bit of a runt as he's about a month old which is when they'd be leaving the nestbox, but his feathers haven't fully opened yet.
