He asked me which diamond I would want my husband to buy me, ...and I said that I would be furious if he wasted our hard earned money on a stupid rock.

Thanks! There's actually another one I like much better but I couldn't find it last night. This is Katie when she was about 3. She was belting out the most enthusiastic rendition of Twinkle Twinkle evah!!!

Could she actually play the guitar at 3 ?? Or was it just a prop?? Either way a really cute pic.


Finally got some real prep done in my veggie garden today. Found a local source of real compost - cow manure with straw and grass cuttings and bought a 1200 pound bag - a lot of work and most of it is on the garden. I just supervised, DH did all the toting of the compost to the garden:) A little luck and will be planting next week

She wasn't playing yet. She kept pulling my 6 string out and I'd had that thing since I was in my early 20s....looooooong time! So Grampa bought her a guitar of her own, and she loved it! Now it's one of the first things Kendra drags out too. Katie's learning, though.

Gonna be awhile before we plant anything. I don't trust Wyoming!

I'm gonna finally get some serious garden work done tomorrow..... Still have snow..... But it's almost All gone
