We were supposed to get rain yesterday but got snow instead. Thankfully, not enough to really stick around.

kinda like my momma years ago when she was in the hospital and wanted to go to the bathroom and i told her i would call and have a nurse bring a bedpan, she wanted to know what that was and when i explained she said, well, what will they think of next

That doctor (she's a female) said "they" were supposed to flag things for her. The receptionist told me every time I called she was leaving notes for the doc, so not sure what sort of flag the doc expected. Maybe one of these:

I've always said Amazon sells everything but had no idea you could buy a cast from them. What next, do it yourself surgery kits?

That's a huge savings you got on Igor's cast!

Part of what makes this such a hassle is DH has been out of town since last Wednesday. It's hard to get anything done here. He's trying to get some work done on the house up in Casper. He'll be back tomorrow though!

Oh geez, I'm sure that does make it tough! I'm glad he'll be home tomorrow though, being alone when you're injured is no good.

I'm up to my eyeballs in chicks right now too. The older chicks are integrating into the bigs but I have more that'll start integrating in about a week. This "hobby" keeps me busy!
