!y day wasn't too bad, my assistant finally gave her 2 weeks notice-so it makes us short staffed, but we have interviews tomorrow hoping the hire enough people to fully staff us. She was always calling out anyway.

Quiet and kids...unheard of

I like quiet day and I have more now that my assistant is gone

DMC, glad you had a nice quiet 3 day weekend! Hope the kids are too bad today. You could always threaten them like my ex used to..."if you don't behave we'll take you back to the police station where we found you".

That’s funny Debby! My favorite little guy at daycare (he’s 3)told me to put my hands behind my back today cuz I was going to jail. I told him I can’t go to jail cuz they don’t have good food there. He said yes you are. He reminds me of my youngest when he was that age.

I'm trying, but it's not easy. DH told me yesterday I'm the 2nd worse patient (he's the 1st). I just want to do stuff myself. He's more than willing to do things for me (and has been great), but it's hard for me to ask for help.

I wouldn’t make a good patient either.

We are no longer waiting for the snow. It's coming down hard already.

I've liked some of Koontz' books too Sharron. But as IM will tell you...it's Stephen King for me all the way! Of course, he can't write them as fast as I can read them

So you like your Kindle? I have one but don't use it. There's something very nice about the feel and smell of real books

I love Nora Roberts and Lisa Jackson and Lisa Gardner.
