I've liked some of Koontz' books too Sharron. But as IM will tell you...it's Stephen King for me all the way! Of course, he can't write them as fast as I can read them :p

So you like your Kindle? I have one but don't use it. There's something very nice about the feel and smell of real books :)
debby, none of the authors i like can write fast enough to suit me. i like king too but koontz i like better than king most of the time, another one i like is john connolly, his charlie parker series, hes weird too and Jonathan kellerman, alex delaware, murder i guess
yes, i like my kindle, cheaper than books but also do still buy books, like the feel too, husband bought me a kindle years ago for christmas, i love my husband but that year i could have :smackup side the head, i did not ask him for it and didn't want it, i liked my paper books , took me two years to ever register it and join kingle to use it, but like i said, still buy a book when i see one i want, mostly at thrift stores . to re read , cheaper than buying pre-kindle days.i don't like change
should also say, i don't like the newer kindles, i have a kindle fire but hate it so just use my old kindle that only has the books, nothing else did i mention i hate change:lau

John Connolly is very good too! Robert Crais is wonderful, I love his Elvis Cole stories. And Lisa Gardner is always good. Harlan Coben, David Baldacci...

Too many good ones and not enough time :)

i'm sorry, you will be snowed in

I don't mind much for me, I don't have to go out for anything other than check on the flock. DH is another story. He has an appointment to get new tires on his truck tomorrow so he can go out of town and work on the house in Casper. The way this is shaping up, he'll be lucky just to get to the tire place, forget going out of town. (And he is not happy about it, at all.)
