I'm doing more shoveling today :( Yesterday when I was clearing an area in the chicken run I clipped the heated waterer with the shovel and broke off a piece of plastic and now the heating coil is exposed. I have an extra waterer to replace that broken one but the extension cord is buried under snow & ice so that will have to be chiseled free to hook up the new waterer. Joy!

Oh crud, I didn't see this before I posted. By the end of this winter you're gonna have arms like Rambo lady! Too bad you can't use a flame thrower to clear that out.

Maybe so, but right now those arms are feeling more like spaghetti :gig

Yesterday I cleared an area for the flock twice. Then I went to check on things at the golf course and had to clear a 12" deep area to drive up to one of the buildings.
