Doing pretty good here. Just talking with the boss about what we'll put on a sign when we shut the gate. It looks inevitable, at this point. What a weird thing. Up to 71 in the state, I know that isn't much in comparison. But it's more than doubled in just a few days.

I know it. I have a hard time understanding how McD's is an essential service. Or how drive thru is so much safer. I know they're limiting contact that way, but there is contact nonetheless. We are considered an essential service, so while that means we don't have to shut down, we're almost expected not to. I'm grateful to be working, don't get me wrong. But we've all got people to worry about. It's hard to know what the "right" decision is, when to make it, and when it's too late.

@N F C I have a neighbor that came down for eggs last night. He and his gf are wanting chickens but aren't able to find any chicks! I told him all I have is baby buzzards that aren't sexed. He asked to see a pic of my baby buzzards so I took him out back to see my flock and the look on his face oh it was too much!

Too funny! Is he going to get some of yours or is he looking for something more "traditional"? I was just looking at mypetchicken...they have chicks and 6-week olds (limited availability). I love your little buzzards, I'd take some of them in a second!

eta: I just saw where he turned them down...

i have to go get my chickens from the baby sitter, he says mine are laying so i can set as soon as i get them home, hes saving my eggs since he knew i was coming home, and altho he kept them last year also, this year he wants some chicks from them, he fell in love with the gentle nature and the looks
