The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I know it. I have a hard time understanding how McD's is an essential service. Or how drive thru is so much safer. I know they're limiting contact that way, but there is contact nonetheless. We are considered an essential service, so while that means we don't have to shut down, we're almost expected not to. I'm grateful to be working, don't get me wrong. But we've all got people to worry about. It's hard to know what the "right" decision is, when to make it, and when it's too late.
I know someone who works at McD's. She got sick a couple of days ago. So much for drive through only being the answer.

Hiya Meg! Has spring spring in Montana yet?
Hey there! Well...it's sure trying. We got a skiff of snow last night and it was 17°f (-8°c?) this morning. I went out and cut the dead off a few perennial grasses and bushes the other day. I was so happy to see greenery popping through! Finally :D And how about you?

My son had to go to town and drop his taxes off so I went with him. I didn’t want to but I needed a few things. I brought sanitizer wipes with to scrub our hands off. I am now starting a wheat sour dough bread thanks to Ron sending me a starter.
Tomorrow night starts an executive order from the governor to stay home except for essential needs.
The sun is trying to shine here. I wish it would.

Hi Bob, you also!

Good luck with your bread DMC! And I hope you get a sunny day...sunshine makes things seem better. :)

Very true! Stay healthy Meg :hugs

You've got greenery popping through? I'm so jealous! We've still got about 2 feet of really soft snow on the ground. My tractor is stuck in it lol. We've been hitting freezing or above during the day for almost the whole winter. Still dropping at night though , usually around 10°F.

You, too! :hugs

We do! Crazy, right? I'll get a picture to share. It's not much, but it's yelling "spring" out there :p

Yea, it's getting kinda crazy isn't it? They're screaming social distancing but go through the drive thru at mickey d's. Makes no sense to me but hey, I'm just an average American, what do I know?
Our governor seems more concerned with maintaining his authority than shutting things down to quash this thing.
I am cutting myself off from fast food. Too many chances, when people can be infected and not know it.
