Yea! NFC! For some reason, I figured you'd do the fort. I forgot he was a herpetology person.
Of course, he'd want to see gators!
I am glad you had a good time.

This thread misses you.
It will be nice when you are settled in Wyoming and you can visit more.
And, because you get up early in the new time zone it will be normal time for me.
Except I do the other life stuff first and BYC is my dessert. so I still get one here late.
It takes me all morning to catch up to some of the threads.


National Root Canal Appreciation Day! uhh. I suppose I appreciated the ability to save a tooth instead of losing one... but egad.
 
Wonderful pics NFC! That cathedral looks amazing! And of course, all the animal pics are awesome!

Thanks Eggsy. We were going to tour the fort but there were gagillions of school kids there and our parking meter was running out of time after 4 hours of walking around.

I miss being on here more. I will be SO freaking glad when life settles down to normal (whatever that is).

Thanks WV, lol. As soon as I saw that picture I first thought of the house that fell on the witch in the Wizard of Oz (what can I say? I was raised in Kansas.) and my second thought was OMG, that's me under those boxes!
 
It will be full of blokes shouting "four" and then asking for their balls back - perfectly normal :)

That's exactly what I thought at first. I saw the striped socks!

I had the "record" of the Wizard of Oz when I was a kid, and listened to it so much, I can recite almost the whole thing. Even knew when to get up to tap the arm of the record player to get over the skips!

I always liked that movie. The down side of the film? Living in KS, you soon get tired of out-of-staters asking if you know Dorothy or if your dog's name is Toto.

That's nothing ( well kinda) - I met a very old friend and said I lived in Kenya - she asked "do you know John - he lives in South Africa ?" Really - how do you answer that? (But I managed not to be rude!)
