That's nothing ( well kinda) - I met a very old friend and said I lived in Kenya - she asked "do you know John - he lives in South Africa ?" Really - how do you answer that? (But I managed not to be rude!)

I find it sad how many people have no idea of distance in other countries. Like the Ebola scare- Some were scared to go to Egypt when there was ebola in Liberia! :/
(Obviously, because of airplane travelers, it could have spread, but that wasn't my point)
