Hi all. I had to make the grocery run this morning. 3 stores later and I'm done. I stocked up on a bunch of stuff we ran out of over the last couple of months and greens for the bunny so we should be ok for a while. Except for the ever elusive TP.
Speaking of TP, Butty went to work with hubs last week, here he is doing his pretrip.

Hope that Butty avoided the rest room - could be a dangerous place for him.

Yesterday we had our first social outing in 6 + weeks. Went to an outdoor pizza party at our daughter's - no hugging or kissing and social distancing was observed. Took them a home made pie and bag of toilet paper. Think they were happier with the toilet paper.

Also no re-useable bags allowed into stores. Well there goes my stash of very attractive animal theme burlap bags.

Put the groceries back in the cart and bag them at the car. I have a dozen reusable bags, I surely don't need a bunch of "single use" plastic ones (though when we do have them they get used for something else before hitting the trash can).

Yep, the chart for VA is not good, still rising with peaks and drops but on the upswing. 772 new cases yesterday.

I'm uncertain. Looks like they want to test as many people as possible...

IF they tested everyone they could isolate only the infected rather than the entire population.

I guess if you have no symptoms I wouldn’t do it either.

Given a HUGE percentage of people with the virus show no symptoms I don't thing that is a good reason to not get tested. One of those people will spread the virus far and wide. The fact that the parent came in Thursday would make me very nervous. Just because SHE didn't have contact with the positive tested person at work doesn't mean she wasn't in contact with another who had been in contact.

DH was saying the other day it's too bad we don't have a large underground tank to fill up right about now. It's cheap everywhere!

We have been hanging at $1.99 for a week or so. I doubt we'll ever see $1.15. Given how little gas I use I expect the prices to go up before I need to hit the station.

I get it, I’m thinking if they have been quarantined they are probably ok. We are nervous about that lady. There are many people not taking it seriously. I’m scared to go to the grocery store.
