Goats can wander pretty far off! One day a few years ago, 2 goats appeared in our yard. We had NO idea where they came from as our nearest neighbor is at least 5 miles away. We called the game warden in hopes that someone might have contacted them about missing goats and sure enough a local rancher had lost 2 goats! These 2 goats had wandered 6 miles away from home in a couple of days! They must have been attracted to all the poultry noise here. :p Goats and owners were happily reunited that evening. :)

Well this one is 6 weeks old and tiny!

She could run really fast! Hubby and I rarely had a problem catching goats in TN when we had a huge herd. They all knew their names, and came when called. I spent a lot of time with them.
