The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi everyone - sounds like a nice day in your neck of the woods, Debby. Hope all is well with you all.

And a nice day right back at you Chris!

Hey, aren't you headed off to York soon?

A couple of pictures of the North Platte River that runs alongside the golf course. It's higher now and is causing some concern. Our course sits down in a "bowl" and has flooded before. I think we'll be ok this year but here's a YouTube link of when it flooded back a few years ago (this sort of flooding has happened a few times):

Time to run. I'm coming home around noon to meet the guys delivering the washer/dryer so will pop in later.

Have a good morning everyone!

Glad to read all the good news Debby.

We moved over 3 years ago, and I finally feel like this is more "home" now, but it takes a while, so relax and enjoy everything along the way!

Beautiful river pics!!

Floods are horrible - here's link to a news forecast on our Flood of 1994 - the worst in 100 years.
The town was without water for months since the water treatment plant was at the river.

I am indeed - in a couple of weeks I'll be basking in the English summer (either that, or getting wet through cos of the rain

Wet or dry, I hope you have a good trip. Will you be in touch with us while you are gone?
