Sounds like you have a green thumb! I have a brown thumb. Not much experience other than up-keeping. My mom grew 2 red guava trees, 1 mandarin orange tree, an apple tree, and a grape vine that grows over the gazebo; they're all trees so I dont have to do much. I tried green lettuce and kale last year but my chickens destroyed them 🤦‍♀️ learned my lesson. I'm attempting an herb for the third time but not sure I'll have luck.

🤞 the last time I remember a good rain fall in California was 2005; the end of my freshman year. Since, it seems like there is less rain every year. I hear stories from the 70's and 80's but, I'm no weather expert.

I agree! I only water the front lawn because we share it with the neighbor; he's mowed our side for the last 30 years so who am I to complain? Lol but I think it's absolutely ridiculous! And what I find even more irritating silly, is that you cannot grow fruit/veggies in the front yard. So, they want it to look nice and serve no real purpose... ok. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dad had asked the neighbor to be sure the sprinkler system only ran once a week. 3 months later when they got back home, Dad found out the neighbor had messed with the sprinkler system and it was running once a DAY. Dad wasn't very happy with the fine he had to pay.

Ahhhh! I would have been so frustrated with that fine, probably complain, "this is why I can't do anything!" Hahaha.

Omgoodness, one of my clocks is officially correct. I don't think I've changed it since we hung it up but, the only people who notice are the guests :p I've been so use to not looking at it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Omg she will be! At least she will be trained... love big dogs but I'm 5'4" so, a large enough dog can knock me over.

Morning Bob :frow You're half way to Friday!

We're in the process of accumulating materials for a smallish greenhouse now. Hopefully that's a project we can get to later this summer/early fall.

We did have time restrictions for watering. No watering during the heat of the day.

I was able to keep the lawn alive that way. Water and sewer is fairly pricey here. This Month was $132.00 a month and it goes up to about $160.00 in the summer
