Hey NFC.....a big howdy from the hinterland....

House is decorated inside and out, lawn decorations in place, tree up and decorated (VERY early for us)I think that we are ready for Christmas. Tomorrow we go to the in-laws' graves to place grave blankets. Done! Oops, maybe I better buy something for the Princess.

Yeah we've been putting up decorations and will continue....funny we never did when the kids were at home......but then again we aren't doing a tree this year

What is a grave blanket?
For snow protection?
We don't do anything like that.

I just think it's great that sour has that much respect....heck I don't even know where my dad is buried....not my fault but wish I did....

I've never heard of a grave blanket but I sure like the idea. Put me down for one sometime in the future (the distant future please).

We finally got all the ornaments up on the Christmas tree. What happens to decorations during the year that makes them impossible to find? I try to put things away grouped together in labeled boxes but every year when it's time to put things up again, stuff is missing! I must have spent 6 hours looking for things over the past couple days. Who's hiding my ornaments? Good thing we picked up a few new ones this weekend.
