Hidey Ho good neighbors! Well, the cookie baking extravaganza didn't go off quite as planned yesterday. I got dough made up for 3 kinds but only baked a few "sample" ones. Have to do quality control you know. That means lots of baking today, if the baking gods allow and the oven can keep up. It's been raining off/on since last night, that sure makes for some soggy chickens. The forecast says we're going to get down into the 30's tonight so I guess winter finally found Florida.

I see some of those huts with wood stoves and a picnic basket full of goodies People reclining with a drink in their hands.....and a little line in a little hole in the water.
What happens if you catch a fish bigger than the hole?

I've had to reach my arm way down under the ice to squeeze a few up through the hole...there aren't too many fish that big in fresh water....
 
I need either a big congratulations or a big margarita...the baking extravaganza is over, done, kaput. Whew I'm tired. Baked 3 types of cookies, 2 loaves of pumpkin bread and 3 pounds of peanut butter/chocolate fudge. It's all packaged in pretty tins & boxes and ready to go to the PO tomorrow. And, the dishes are done (that's worth a big hoo-rah right there). Next year ma is getting a nightgown, that's so much easier!

We'll definitely have to celebrate Monday, that's a birthday all right! How exciting Grandpa, do you know yet if it's a boy or girl?

I expect you'll be tied up Monday but don't worry, we'll be glad to help out with your piece of cake
