I wish my grandparents had lived longer. My grandpa (mom's side) died when I was 12.5 and grandma died when I was 22. She had some great stories and a wonderful wacky sense of humor. I think she was in her 70's. My dad's mom - we never saw often (lived with another sibling) and outlived 3 husbands so I didn't know my grandpa.

I was lucky enough to know my mom's dad and my dad's mom for a long time...they both lived until age 92 and we were always in touch with one another. Grandparents are the best

Hi NFC just woke up from nap, replied to some posts, and now going to bed again - "that's how I roll," at my advanced age. Was so bored I shaved my head. Seemed like a great idea at the time - now not so much. But, it should grow back - right? Meanwhile have many winter hats to choose from.

Nighty night NFC - have to get up for real at 8:30 am today. Seems like activities just interrupt my napping. Oh well...
