The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We may be "fairer" but I think we're tougher. When I'm sick all I want to do is go to bed, sleep and shut out the world. Check on me once in a while to see if I'm still breathing but leave me alone. When DH is sick, he wants to lay on the couch in the middle of the house, moan loudly, ask for stuff, whine about how lousy he feels, complain about it being too noisy...he craves attention.

I don't get it. If you don't feel good find a cave and hibernate until you're all better.

Not in my house...I go unless I'm severely ill.....that's why if I called in sick to work they knew I was sick.....
There is another update on the heating pad web site for Blooie.....she's gonna have to take it easy from here on out....

Ok, I hear you guys...I've got a whiner. Good thing he's also a keeper (and doesn't get sick often)!

IMO real influenza deserves whining. Have only had it twice and it is misery.

Hope he feels better soon and keeps those germs to hisself.

HA. You never know where I'll pop up next!! Men definitely "suffer" more than we do when they are sick! It's all that pesky testosterone. Guys never learn to train their brains to control it. But we can't blame them - we women are to blame for it. As moms we spend every other minute of our lives reminding our boys to "check that zipper" and yelling, "For crying out loud, son - pull up your fly"! So no air ever gets to their brains.

Glad to see you here. Hope all goes well for you on Monday. In the meantime, try to behave yourself, and don't pinch the male nurses
