The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

And that pretty much sums it up!! I enjoy my cigs! There, I said it! Doctor asked me how soon after getting up did I light up the first one. I just told him, "You don't understand. I get up TO have my first one, even if that's 3 am." Yep, after 52 years, that's how bad it gets. Yet I have no problem not lighting up around the grandkids. Drove from Denver to home with Jenny on oxygen and a newborn with a 3 inch incision on her back and had two smokes in that 12 hours - at rest areas in the pouring rain. I don't smoke in the house when Kendra's here either. So why is it so hard to take that one more step?

Then it is just habit and not an addition....why not try the Telly Savalas method and get some Tootsie Pops?

Who loves Blooie, we do

Or get a rubber band, worked for Larry Hagman, put it on your wrist and play with it.

There is absolutely NO reason for posting this video. None. It has no great social message, no earth shattering revelations. It is irreverent, silly, and totally the belly laugh I needed today! Hope you smile!

Blooie...it's hard because it's an addiction...and it makes you feel safe....love ya again.....Phil

Cold, cold, cold here this morning. The temp dropped to freezing last night. Hope that's the end of that nonsense for one winter!

Now all you northerners can tell me what a sissy I am and you are still up to your noses in snow

Not a sissy - you just suffer from 'Florida syndrome'. It happened to my mother and sister too.

Yep, you're right! I still miss living farther south where it never got below 42* (that was actually the record low, once). I must have been born to live in the tropics. How I lived through KS weather for years is beyond me.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! DH and I have errands to run. His computer died for good last night so I guess we have to go through the mind-numbing, confusing process of getting him a new one. (Better that process though than us trying to "share" mine, lol.)

Hi Debby - make your life easy and get DH a Mac - no confusion, no fuss.

Enjoy the day!
Chris
