Check this out! First time she's done this in her upgraded gait trainer! We've practiced in the house before, but she usually just sits in in and gets mad. Today we took her outside and she took off!!! I know it's long, but it was a lot longer for her. Before this clip she had already walked from the house, down the sidewalk, across and down the street. Then I took this, and then we turned her around and she walked all the way back! This is stupendous! Now she WANTS to get into the gait trainer!! Whoopee Kendra!! This video will be all over BYC today, I guarantee. I'm so proud of her - what's even better is you can tell by her face that she's pretty proud of herself!

We've been running since 7:15 this morning. Got new tires and an oil change done to our car since I'll be driving it out there. And DH got me a GPS dealie-bob to keep me from getting lost!! Whew, that's a relief. I can get lost in the closet. I also found out that will be a 1,926 mile long drive. At least it will only be the one time.

Blooie, yeah girl, we're going to be neighbors! We'll be within walking distance of the North Platte River so lots of wildlife in the area (including rattlesnakes we've been told).

Sunflour, what's this about you running around??? Does your husband know?

Berts? Berts who? Maybe if we talk about him, he'll show up.

NFC do you have any experience with COLD weather? Just askin' - at least no more pesky alligators or 20 foot pythons

Hi DD! I grew up in Iowa and Kansas so lots of cold weather there. Actually, I get cold here in north FL and with this humidity, temps in the 30's are just raw feeling. At least out there the air is dry. No more gators or boas for sure, lol.

I'm hoping if my son comes down to help me out with the house and we get done by the time he has to go back to Kansas, we can follow each other at least as far as that. Once I get into Missouri and points west, I'll do ok on my own. I've driven through the Midwest by myself before (the sw part of the drive worries me a bit more, not real familiar with that part of the country).
